French toast

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • Margarine or vegetable oil for frying
  • 2  slices wholemeal bread

Method

Combine the egg and milk in a bowl and beat with a fork.

Heat the margarine or oil in a frying pan over a medium heat.

Dip the bread into the egg mixture and cook until golden brown on both sides.  Put on a plate and eat warm.
