Salmon and vegetable dinner
Ingredients
- 1 Salmon steak (de-boned)
- 10 oz potatoes peeled and chopped
- 1 small carrot peeled and sliced
- 2 oz grated mild cheddar cheese
- 2½ oz broccoli florets
- ½ oz butter
- 2 tablespoons milk
Method
Boil the potatoes and carrot in a pan with unsalted water and simmer for 20 minutes.
Poach the salmon in unsalted water until cooked and falls apart to the touch. Steam the broccoli florets until tender.
Drain all the ingredients cooked so far and mash them together with the butter milk and cheese.
