This includes activities from being creative in the home and outdoors to joining groups and classes at your local sports centre or community hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>But do you know the recommended amount your child should be physically active? <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pre-school children (1-5 years) are recommended to be active for <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.healthyhebrideankids.scot.nhs.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Poster-physical-activity-for-early-years-birth-to-5.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">180 minutes a day<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Children and young people (5-18 years) are recommended to be active for at least <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.healthyhebrideankids.scot.nhs.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Poster-physical-activity-for-children-and-young-people-5-to-18-years.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">60 minutes per day<\/a> <br><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color\">Play@Home<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Your family will receive three free books by our Health Visitor offering a wide range of play activities for babies and young children. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The first seven years of a child\u2019s life are the most influential for their overall development.
